Open LibraryA complete solution for the modern library branch.
Cordura was behind the first 'Open Library' in Denmark, and has
now more than 40 established solutions across the country.
The system is a supplement to the existing opening hours of the library branches.
It is a self-service solution, where users themselves are responsible for access to and operation of library facilities. Corduras specially developed software and hardware makes it possible for smaller library branches to stay open without physical presence of personnel.
The access control consists of a single entrancecomputer at the
library's entrance, where users can let themselves in using their
library card or health card and a PIN. To further ensure the
supervision of the library, Cordura installs intelligent monitoring
and software that ensures automatic control of the alarm system,
doors, voice alarm and lights in the library.
All components in 'The Open Library' is controlled by the SOL-systemet/server, which is easily administered through a central website.
